Publishing contract signed

This is Kent Wyatt. Yesterday my wife, Rebekah and I, signed a contract with Winged Publications for our first two novels. God has been so incredibly good to us. In the same week that we received the offer for the WP contract we got phone calls telling us that our first novel is a semi-finalist in American Christian Fiction Writers Genesis contest (the thriller division) and our third novel is a finalist for the Daphne du Maurier Award for Excellence in Mystery/Suspense (in the inspirational mystery/suspense category) sponsored by Romance Writers of America.

Then, yesterday we were able to find an awesome cover for our novel which Cynthia Hickey of Winged Publications promptly purchased for use in the production of our book. We cannot say enough about Cynthia. She is so easy to work with and she moves at the speed of an impala on the African plain with a cheetah on its tail and a Monster drink in its hand. She has put up with our constant questions and apprehensions and made us feel like we are part the Winged family (Don’t you love the sound of that? Makes you want to take off and write a story about this clan who has a genetic anomaly that gives them the gift of flight. Steady, Kent, steady – one story at a time.)
